He was given his first lead role in the movie <The Beast>. He played the Marine Tae-Hoon, who tracks down his missing sister. Through this role, Suk-Won showed off his charisma. As a former Marine and martial arts master, Suk-Won performed his own stunts without using anyone as a double. Suk-Won was also recognized at the Jeonju International Film Festival and later the Moscow International Film Festival through the movie <Secrets, Objects> where he played actress JANG Seo-Hee’s boyfriend. He recently starred in the high-budget <R2B: Return to Base> starring Rain and SHIN Se-Kyung. Suk-Won’s role in this movie is as the sergeant of AFSAT Choi Min-Ho.
