Shortly thereafter, he kicked off his directing career in 2000 with the short film <To My Love>, which debuted in the competition section of the Venice International Film Festival, His feature directing career began in 2008 with the comedy-drama <Radio Days>. Starring RYOO Seung-bum, the film followed the trials and tribulations of the first Korean radio station in the 1930s. In addition to scoring 200,000 viewers during its domestic release, it screened at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival and the Jecheon International Music and Film Festival. In late 2015, HA returned with <LOVE GUIDE FOR DUMPEES>. The romantic comedy features HAN Ye-ri and YOON Kye-sang, as a woman and man who meet at their ex-lovers’ wedding and was seen by over 300,000 spectators.
