He built an interest in the film industry while working as an analyst in a venture capital company, and founded [iFilm], which specializes in film investment. He gained fame by investing in the early works of [Sidus] such as Marriage Is a Crazy Thing and then A Tale of Two Sisters by [KIM Jee-woon]. He took charge of the film business of [Barunson] when the stationary company expanded into the entertainment business, and produced the blockbuster which sold more than 6.9 million tickets. He left [Barunson] during its production of Mother to join a distribution company, [N.E.W.] and later set up his own production company, [Withus Film]. Currently he is working on co-production of Detective K : Secret of Virtuous Widow] with [Generation Blue Film] and is developing Falling in Love, a new film by [E J-yong].
