CHOI Do-young produced [Zhang Lu]s early works, Tang Poetry and Grain in Ear. He also worked as a director of photography and an actor in Koreas indie film industry. Before jumping into production, he had worked as a color correction technician at [Korean Film Council]. He was the director of photography on Ohu: A Hilarious Mourning(2003), a movie directed by the famous stage director, [LEE Youn-taek]. After establishing his own company, [Doo Entertainment], he met the Korean Chinese director, [Zhang Lu], through [LEE Chang-dong]. Grain in Ear was awarded in the Critics Week section at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival and took the New Currents Award at the [Pusan International Film Festival]. He developed Paradise Murdered, his first commercial film project, which was a box office success. He also produced Anti Gas Skin by the indie film directors [KIM Gok] and [KIM Sun], which went on to compete in the Orizzonti section of the Venice Film Festival in 2010. He is currently producing the directors first commercial horror feature, White.
