CHUN Jeong-myoung got good notices for his roles in <Are You Ready?> an adventure movie that took most of the scenes in Thailand, and in <Twentidentity>, an omnibus film project participated by 20 renowned directors including [BONG Joon-ho], [KIM Tae-yong], and [MIN Kyu-dong]. His charm started to work magic on small screens. Female viewers swooned over him as he appeared in the romantic comedy TV drama <What’s Up, Fox?> playing Cheolsoo, who falls in love with a 30-something “singleton” friend of his elder sister. His boyish image introduced him as every woman’s “youngest brother” who needs endless care and support. CHUN Jeong-myoung tried to toughen up his image appearing in the action thriller <Les Formidable>, where he plays Su-hyun, a jail breaker who proposes a risky deal to a cop ([PARK Joong-hoon]) who has money worries. Depicting 48 hours they are together, he was truly watchable, in a different way from what he showed in his previous works. He took on a lead role in <Hansel and Gretel>, a horror film based on the same name story by the Brothers Grimm. Playing Eunsoo, he discovers the secret of the mysterious forest. He also starred in the noir film <Hindsight>, playing a gangster fighting lonely battle to protect his retired boss([SONG Kang-ho]). CHUN switched gears by playing the male lead in the romantic comedy <Queen of the Night>, as the clueless husband to KIM Min-jung’s former night queen in 2013.
