It however in 1996, when he played in sitcom <New Generation Report: Adults Don't Know>, that his career really took off. After finishing his film studies at Dongguk University, he made his big screen debut in 2000 with a supporting role in IM Kwon-taek’s classic tale <Chunhyang>. When he completed in 2002 his military service, he started to give acting lessons. 2006 was a busy year for him as he appeared in no less than four movies, including <Love Phobia> and <No Mercy For The Rude>. In spite of this, in 2007, he put an end to his acting career to dedicate himself entirely to his teaching activities and opened an acting school.
