He rose to stardom after starring as a rebellious music prodigy in the TV drama <Beethoven Virus> and further with his role in <Where the Truth Lies> based on a real-life homicide, which renewed attention over an old case. He starred as Arthur PATTERSON, a prime suspect in the movie that investigated a mysterious murder which occurred in Itaewon, Seoul’s multicultural district. As opposed to his movie persona, JANG plays sweet and lovey-dovey characters in TV dramas. In the Japanese manga-based film <You’re My Pet>, he played an attractive young man who will do anything for an older career woman, to titillate the fantasies of female spectators.
