A graduate of the Department of Theatre and Film of Hanyang University, LEE Mi-do, born in 1982, got her start in Korean film when she appeared in the drama <Flying Boys> in 2004, which she quickly followed with a role in the crime-action sequel <Another Public Enemy> in 2005. A chameleonic actress capable of taking on many roles and adept at acrobatics, dance and kick boxing, LEE has built up an impressive array of multi-faceted supporting parts. Her filmography includes the political thriller <Hanbando> (2006), the romantic comedy <A Millionaire’s First Love> (2006), the women’s sports drama <Forever the Moment> (2008) and BONG Joon-ho’s drama-thriller <Mother> (2009). Subsequently, after toiling for years in small parts, she jumped up to the main cast in the crime-comedy <Hello Murderer> in 2010 and then the horror romantic comedy <Spellbound> the next year. More roles followed in the revenge thriller <26 Years> (2012), the romcoms <Queen of the Night> and <Sunshine Love> (both 2013), the latter of which premiered at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival. In 2012, LEE also moved her talents into the TV arena, where she has remained busy, in tandem with her active film career.
