SHIM Yi-Young is sometimes misunderstood as a new actress but she has in fact been in the industry for 11 years. She entered the business by starring in director KIM Ki-Duk’s film <Real Fiction>. She has built her career by appearing in many movies such as, <Bongja>, <No Comment>, <Son, My Enemy>, and <Cruel Winter Blues>. However she made perhaps her most lasting impression as LEE Sun-Gyun’s wife and Seo-wo’s sister, named Choi Eun-Soo, in the film <Paju> in 2009. She exquisitely performed a complicated role, which straddles a fine balance between delicate and strong. After that, She also appeared in the film <Love, In Between> and the drama <Marry me, Mary>.
