Born in 1993, Bang Minah first entered the show business when she was scouted by the CEO of a talent agency while she was taking part in a singing performance in the street when she was in high school. In summer 2010, she made her official debut as one of the 4-member K-pop group Girl’s Day, and the next year she was offered her first role in the sitcom <Vampire Idol>. Next for her was the lead role in the film <HOLLY> (2011), in which she played a young aspiring ballerina. In 2013, she appeared in the family comedy film <Dad for Rent> (2013). Following the release of her first solo single in 2014 and her first EP in 2015, she landed her first lead role on television in the romcom <Beautiful Gong Shim> (2016). After a few years away from the screens, Bang first came back on television headlining the SF-romcom series <My Absolute Boyfriend> (2019), in which she falls in love with an android.
