After a project on which he would serve as first assistant director was suddenly cancelled, he started writing the screenplay for his debut feature. Even though he completed the script in one year, it took him seven more years to get if financed and produced. A thriller revolving around the slush fund of a corrupt politician, <TRUE FICTION> (2017) won Best Film and Best Screenplay of the Director’s Week section at Fantasporto (Oporto International Film Festival).
