Born in 1969. A graduate from the Korean National University of Arts, Kim is a new director who directed remarkable short films such as Execution, which competed at Cannes Film Festival in 1999, A Well and Sunday. Ice Rain is her feature debut and she will be recorded as the first female director, filmed blockbuster in Korea.
