Having acting skills befitting an adult actor, KIM You-Jung debuted in a milk commercial in 2004 and later officially appeared on movie screens through <Demilitarized Zone> in 2004. Since then, she has been cast in over 20 dramas and movies. 2010 was a very busy year for her, having appeared in 4 dramas: <Gumiho: Tale of the Fox's Child>, <Dongi>, <Fire of Desire>, and <Pumpkin Flower, SunJung>. She showed exceptional acting in <Gumiho: Tale of the Fox's Child> as a nine-tailed fox as well as in <Fire of Desire> by acting 2 parts as Shin Eun-Kyoung and Young Seo-Woo. As a result, she was awarded with the Child Actress Award at the 2010 KBS Drama Awards as well as the 2010 MBC Drama Awards. Following a break from films for a few years (though she remained active on the small screen) KIM’s next role in the North Korean spy drama <Commitment>, playing a spy’s younger sister. She next took on one of the leading roles in LEE Han’s hard-hitting high school bullying drama <Thread of Lies> (2014), as one of the bullies. She next signed on for a lead role in the thriller <Joy> in 2015.
