However, her real breakthrough came in 2009 as a result of PARK Chan-wook’s vampire film <Thirst>, starred in with SONG Kang-ho. She drew high praise for her work, including a Best Actress awards from the Sitges Film Festival and has gone to appear in a pair of E J-yong films as herself, <Actresses>(2009) and <Behind the Camera>(2012), as well as JANG Hoon’s Korean war film <The Front Line> (2011) and the 2012 concept comedy <Over My Dead Body>. Her next role was in the sci-fi <AM 11:00> alongside JEONG Jae-young. In 2015, she appeared in the court drama <Minority Opinion>, which dealt with the Yong-san eviction incident and took some time to find its way to theaters.
