Scene shows empty Kwanghwamoon Square in the dawn and switches into an apartment complex. There, story of a mother begins.
The mother is praying. It’s something she’s been doing so for the years since the day her daughter was gone. On the day when 3 years have passed from the accident, as the mother still praying as usual, the daughter returns home. Now the two have one last day to spend together.
As the sun rises, story of a man begins. Sang-won suffers from a traumatic memory that he finds difficult to overcome. The more he tries, the greater baggage haunts him from the past, finally forcing him to take his own life.
One summer day, another story begins as a man opens his eyes. Today is the first holiday he has to spend without his wife by his side.
While the three cope with everyday trying not to forget the memory of their loved ones, time passes and the rest of the world goes on. Finally, the last scene shows busy crowd passing Kwanghwamoon Square in contrast with a tent quietly standing.
