Sang-woo saves Sun-mi from falling into a river and there he finds her music box, which is her deceased father’s last gift, left on the bench. Sang-woo visits Sun-mi at her perfume laboratory to return the music box. As a token of her gratitude, Sun-mi makes special perfume for Sang-woo whose scent reminds her of the snowy sea. They fall for each other but born with myelodysplastic syndrome, Sun-mi has been faced with progressive bone marrow failure. Even after realizing Sun-mi’s illness, Sang-woo becomes more serious about their relationship and devotes himself to her.
