Having been the first studio in Korea to set up a planning department to undertake market researches, it also introduced a new business model by securing investment from a private corporation for the hit comedy <The Marriage Life> (1992). Among its biggest successes are <The Gingko Bed> (1996), <An Affair> (1998) and <My Sassy Girl> (2001). With <The Fox With Nine Tails> (1994), it became the first film company in Korea to use CGI effects. Many employees of ShinCine have later made a name for themselves in film planning and production.
