- KOFIC offers KRW 700 million for projects in development

Korean Film Council plans to support small and medium Korean film production companies and creative groups with 700 million won for planning and development. This is to encourage creativity and innovate the narration of Korean films and to induce small and medium production companies, producers and screenwriters, those who have ability to develop but have trouble attracting investments to actively work on film development projects. This mainly supports treatment developments and projects that possess high potential of finalizing a feature film production. No more than 25 projects on the 1st stage will be supported with 10 million won per project in cash accordingly and 10 projects with the same amount on the 2nd stage. Following the first half of the year, in the latter half, the registration will be open for 5 days at http://www.scenariomarket.or.kr/ from August 6~10.
