As art professor JEONG Ji-woo (Seo) prepares for her next exhibition, she becomes enraptured by YOON Ji-woo (Kim Hyo-jin), a model portrayed in one of her student’s drawings. Unable to shake her obsession, Jeong eventually hires the model for her own show, and together they travel to a beachside town to work on the project. Here, Yoon relates her magnificently disastrous relationship with KANG Ji-woo (Kim Kkot-bi), a young girl coasting through life as a pickpocket. As this harrowing love story unfolds, the women’s interactions become an intense meditation on love, bodies, and the nature of desire.
Kim Su-hyeon began working as an assistant director and writer for JANG Sun-woo’s <Timeless Bottomless Bad Movie> (1997). His first feature, <So Cute> (2004), screened at the 2004 Busan International Film Festival and won him a Best Debut Film Award at Korea’s BaekSang Arts Awards in 2005.
