  • Slamming 100 Thousand Admissions for Three Films in a Row

Twenty took the top place at the box office for the last week of March, with 852,973 ticket sales over the weekend. According to the Korean Box Office Information System, the film sold 1,136,862 tickets in its first week. If dark masculine action films were the trend for a while, this light comedy with young actors KIM Woo-bin, KANG Ha-nuel and LEE Jun-ho is bringing a new genre to light. Twenty had high ticket reservation rate even prior to its opening, bringing buzz to the film.

Twenty is the third film for KIM Woo-bin to be cast as the lead. The other two were Friend: The Great Legacy (2013) and The Con Artists, All three have went over the 100,000 admissions mark in their first week of releases. KIM’s star power and his performance in the industry is something to look forward to.
