AD406 Pictures is a film production company set up in 2010 by CHA Ji-hyun, who is none other than the brother of star actor CHA Tae-hyun. With the declared intent to satisfy the audience’s thirst for original film experiences, it has released a couple of CHA Tae-hyun vehicle comedies as well as several thrillers including the critically acclaimed (2013), which was invited to compete in the Directors’ Fortnight section of the Cannes Film Festival.
