Director LEE Byoung-heon to Start Production on EXTREME JOB in January
RYU Seung-ryong,
LEE Ha-neui and
JIN Seon-kyu will join the cast of upcoming comedy
Extreme Job (translated title). The film is about an undercover narc unit that opens a chicken place to bust a drug squad, but discover their new business is unexpectedly good. Actor RYU’s confirmation was followed by that of actress LEE and actor JIN, who had great performances in movies this year.

Extreme Job will offer the actor the opportunity to show his comedic chops. Actress
LEE Ha-neui will appear in a comedy flick once again, following her performance in
The Bros. She appeared in three films this year (
The Bros,
Heart Blackened and
Fabricated City).
RYU Seung-ryong will show more of his range as the hero of
Extreme Job, and also as the lead in two anticipated blockbusters,
Psychokinesis and
Night of 7 Years (translated title).
Extreme Job will be directed by
LEE Byoung-heon, known for films like
Cheer Up Mr. Lee (2013) and
Twenty (2015). It will be produced by About Films, which put out comedy film
DETOUR (2016), while
CJ Entertainment will handle the investment and distribution. The movie will start filming in early next year.
