  • Project A to be Released in Early 2018

LEE Min-ho’s action comedy Mysterious Fighter Project A (2018) hasn’t even hit theaters yet but it has already been given the go ahead for a sequel. The SWEN group, a multinational entertainment company that handles media distribution, production, financing and licensing has greenlit a Mysterious Fighter Project B.

Mysterious Fighter Project A is about a man who washes up on a beach in Hong Kong and discovers he mysteriously has the skills to cook and to fight. He goes on to take on a group of thugs who want to take over his restaurant. The film will be released in January 2018 in Hong Kong and other Asian territories.

Mysterious Fighter Project A is a co-venture between SWEN group and Hong Kong-based Fame Universal Entertainment.

Filming of Project B is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2018 and will take place in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

LEE skyrocketed to fame for his portrayal of Gu Jun-pyo in the critically acclaimed Korean drama Boys Over Flowers (2008). LEE, who speaks Korean and Mandarin, most recently starred in the action film Bounty Hunters (2016) which was a Korean-Chinese co-production.
