HWANGWOO Seul-hye and SISTAR’s Bora also Join Project

PARK Hee-Soon and JIN Gyeong have signed on to play a married couple in the new drama Sun-Kissed Family from debut director KIM Ji-hye. The film is told from the perspective of their nine-year-old son. HWANGWOO Seul-hye and singer Bora of popular group SISTAR, in her first feature film role, have also signed on to the project.

Actor PARK is on board as Joon-ho, an aspiring painter who happily raises his family after meeting and marrying a woman played by JIN Gyeong. Things become complicated when his first love, played by HWANGWOO, enters the picture again. Bora will play an aspiring singer, who is the middle child among the couple’s three offspring.

Following a brief break from acting after The Suspect in 2013, PARK returned last year in both the holiday comedy DETOUR and as a cameo in the opening scene of KIM Jee-woon’s The Age of Shadows. He will next be seen in North Korea action-thriller V.I.P., period war film Namhansanseong Fortress and political drama 1987, among others.

JIN has recently featured in hit thrillers such as RYOO Seung-wan’s Veteran (2015) and last year’s Master. HWANGWOO works on both the big and small screen and her film credits include Salut d’Amour (2015), White (2011), PARK Chan-wook’s Thirst (2009) and LEE Kyoung-mi’s Crush And Blush (2008), which was her debut role.
