Opportunity to Meet World Wide TV Documentary Experts
Docs Port Incheon 2015, which will be held from October 30th to November 2nd, has issued its call for feature documentary projects from throughout Asia starting August 3rd.
Docs Port Incheon 2015 is recruiting projects for these sections: ‘Korean Project Pitch (K-Pitch)’ for the purpose of Korean theatrical releasing and TV broadcasting, ‘Asian Project Pitch (A-Pitch)’ for Asian projects targeting international markets, and ‘Rough Cut Sales’ for introducing films in rough cut during their post-production stage. Rough Cut Sales section entry is open to any Korean documentaries in post-production and Asian documentaries which have participated in Docs Port Incheon before.
Docs Port Incheon 2015 newly establishes ‘Global Project Pitching’ to support international co-producing documentary projects. Any TV documentary project aiming for co-production with international Broadcasters can apply for this program. After passing the documentation screening and the round table pitching the final selections will have an opportunity to build up networking with world recognized TV industry experts including NHK Enterprise Japan and ARTE France. The best projects will be granted USD 26,000 (KRW 30 million) prize. The application for ‘Global Project Pitching’ is open for two weeks from August 10th.
