    BiFan 2015 KoBiz Online Screening Opens on July 16!
     
     
     

     
    Fantasy films beyond our imagination are coming in hot and sunny July. The 19th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival  has a new name ‘BiFan’ instead of long-standing ‘PiFan’. It features extensive Korean genre films that have both their cinematic quality and popularity. While fantastic festivals in Europe are an issue of fear and grotesqueries, Bifan’s selection is mainly based on fantastic and unrealistic elements. Here is the fantastic lineup for Bifan which is provided by  KoBiz Online Screening for the third time this year.
     
    Remarkable burst of domestic short films is expected this year in BiFan. Korean short films brought successive good news recently for Best Short Film category at the Berlin International Film Festival and Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, one of the three most prestigious international short film festivals. The works are drawing overseas attention as one of the hottest contents.
     
    This year’s short film lineup includes Sweet Family by director PARK Joong-ha, a story of a stranger hugely impacting peaceful family, YIM Kyung-dong’s As You Wish,distinctive shamans possession themed film, Dummy : No Way Out by PARK Jae-beom, LEE Doo-hee and KIM Eun-sung, showing impressive stop motion details, NAM Sun-a’s Papa, Please Don't Leave, documentary thinking about one’s life who has to rely on her father’s support and JEONG Hae-won’s Taxi Driver, a story about a taxi driver becoming aware himself.
     
    Feature film presents plentiful lineup as well. It includes Super Origin directed by BACK Seung-kee about provocative interpretation of the beginning of humankind, Antigone by KANG Eok-seok, KIM Sung-pum and PARK Seo-yeon, variation story from a classic Greek tragedy to Korea with unique point of view.
     
    KoBiz OS Festival Screening: BiFan 2015 will provide screening service from the festival’s opening July 16th for three months.
