The 2005 Mise-en-scene Genre Film Festival, which features a host of local and international short films of various genres, have announced the awards of its latest edition. One film each from the sections Social Drama, Melodrama, Comedy, Horror/Fantasy, and Action were selected by a jury of famous directors and actors (see previous news story from KOFIC). A list of awards can be found below. This year's festival attracted over 12,000 visitors for an unusually high seating rate of over 90%. With a large number of sold out screenings, many viewers were ultimately turned away.
