4th Mise-en-scene Genre Festival unveils awards

The 2005 Mise-en-scene Genre Film Festival, which features a host of local and international short films of various genres, have announced the awards of its latest edition. One film each from the sections Social Drama, Melodrama, Comedy, Horror/Fantasy, and Action were selected by a jury of famous directors and actors (see previous news story from KOFIC). A list of awards can be found below. This year's festival attracted over 12,000 visitors for an unusually high seating rate of over 90%. With a large number of sold out screenings, many viewers were ultimately turned away. The popular success of the festival drew much attention from the local press, particularly with the number of celebrities who lent their support to the event.
