JANG Jun-hwan, whose critically acclaimed debut film Save the Green Planet won the Best Director award at the Moscow International Film Festival in 2003, has been selected to return to Moscow as a jury member for its 27th edition. JANG will be one of the judges to select prizes in the Perspectives Competition Programme, one of two competition sections hosted by the festival. A total of 8 films will screen in this section, including Texture of Skin, the second feature and first live-action film by acclaimed Korean animator LEE Sung-kang (My Beautiful Girl, Mari). The festival will unspool from June 17 to 26 in Russia's capital, and will also feature the 17-film Main Competition section that will judged by the likes of directors Claire Denis, Ulrich Seidl, and Russian actresses Viktoria Tolstohanova and Elena Safonova.
