Unstoppable, a new vehicle for popular star Don
LEE (aka MA Dong- seok), completed filming on August 3. The crime-action title marks the debut of director KIM Min-ho.
The film focuses on a legendary gangster played by LEE who is trying to go on the straight and narrow until the day his wife is kidnapped. However, the perpetrators of the crime don’t realize who they are up against.
LEE, who became a globally known face after appearing in the sensationally successful zombie drama TRAIN TO BUSAN (2016), has featured in an impressive array of hits in the last 12 months, including last year’s crime drama THE OUTLAWS (2017) and the fantasy epic sequel Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days, which is currently in theaters.
Playing the wife of
LEE’s character is SONG Ji- hyo, who is well known for her work on television and is becoming increasingly more familiar on the big screen, having appeared in the gangland sage New World (2013) and the affair comedy What a Man Wants earlier this year.
The film also features veteran supporting actors such as
KIM Min- (The Battleship Island, 2017), jae KIM Sung-oh (The Merciless, 2017) and LEE’s THE OUTLAWS co-star PARK Ji-hwan.
After completing post-production, Unstoppable will be distributed by Showbox.
