TV Series MY LOVE FROM THE STAR Producer JANG Tae-yoo to Make His Directorial Debut in China

MBA PARTNERS to be Released in April in China

TV series My Love from the Star (2014) producer CHANG Tae-you makes his directorial debut in China. His new movie MBA Partners is going to be released in April in China. My Love from the Star, starring Gianna JUN and KIM Soo-hyun, gained explosive popularity not only at home, but also across Asia.

A press conference was held for MBA Partners at the Millennium Hotel in Beijing, China on February 28th. The film starring YAO Chen, TANG Yan, HAO Lei and Aaron KWOK is a romantic comedy about career, love and friendship of young women who start a new business. The film was produced by Chinese entertainment company Yuehua Entertainment and starred members of boy group Unique from its Korean branch Yuehua Entertainment Korea.

Director CHANG Tae-you became a producer through open recruitment at South Korean broadcasting station SBS in 1998 and has produced a lot of popular TV series including War of Money (2007), Painter of the Wind (2008) and Deep-Rooted Tree (2011). Especially War of Money and Painter of the Wind, which were invited to the Houston Independent International Film Festival, have come into the spotlight in the world beyond Korea.

CHANG’s first feature film MBA Partners has completed shooting in Shanghai, China and America from the last April to the early July. The film is due to open on April 29th all over China.
