Dragon Blade featuring CHOI Si-won will be released in China and Hong Kong on February 19th and on March 12th in Korea. Directed by Daniel LEE of Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon (2008), CHOI will perform shoulder to shoulder with a huge global cast including Jackie CHAN, Adrien Brody, John Cusack and more.

Set during the Han Dynasty, this period action blockbuster is about the clashes between Roman and Chinese civilization. Cusack plays a Roman general named Lucius, while Brody will play Tiberius. CHAN, as the protagonist, is a commander named Huo An who is unfairly stripped of his position when he is framed, while CHOI will be a general who supports Huo.

CHOI Si-won started his career in the entertainment industry through his involvement in the Korean idol boy group, Super Junior. However, he turned his eyes to acting in 2005, starting with TV dramas. Despite his Korean nationality, his first film was the Chinese epic A Battle of Wits (2006) where he played Prince Liang-shi. Other than Dragon Blade, CHOI has To the Fore and Helios also lined up for release this year, expanding his filmography in China and Hong Kong which has been more extensive in comparison to his domestic works. Due to his fan base in the region.

The film will be distributed by the Joy N Contents Group in Korea.
