PiFan Youth Academy Opens

The Third PiFan Youth Film Academy opened on January 7th at Pucheon’s Korea Manhwa Contents Agency. The head of the academy, KIM Dae-seung, said during the opening ceremony “Making films is not about finding one fixed answer but a process of posing the question to oneself and answering it” adding that “I hope you will find a chance here at Pucheon to dream a new dream, find new thoughts, and make friendships.

The festival director of PiFan, KIM Young-bin said “I hope you will develop with friends from different backgrounds and that it will impact your whole life.” All seven films from last year’s PiFan Youth Academy were invited to Japan’s Yubari International Fantastic Festival, proving its competitiveness.
