October to Welcome KONG Hyo-jin and KIM Rae-won’s CRAZY ROMANCE

Award-Winning Short Filmmaker Debuts with Romcom


KONG Hyo-jin and KIM Rae-won will storm the screen next month in the romantic comedy Crazy Romance. The film marks the feature debut of KIM Han-gyeol, a graduate of Konkuk University known for her award-winning shorts A Perfect Sight (2009), Chatter (2011) and Make Peace (2015).

The stars play Jae-hoon and Sun-young, two people who recently broke up with their partners and begin working together. Co-stars include KANG Ki-young of EXIT, The Prison (2017) actor JUNG Woong-in and JANG So-yeon of THE WAILING (2016).

Known for Memento Mori (1999), Crush And Blush (2008) and Love Fiction (2012), as well as her TV and modelling work, KONG Hyo-jin was last on screen in the acclaimed thriller Door Lock (2018) and the vehicular action-thriller Hit-and-Run Squad earlier this year. Star of Sunflower (2006) and Gangnam Blues (2015), KIM Rae-won appeared in Long Live the King earlier this summer. KONG and KIM previously appeared together on the small screen 16 years ago in the TV drama Snowman.

The film is being released domestically by Next Entertainment World (NEW), while international sales are being handled by CONTENTS PANDA. Handling production on the project is the successful company ZIP CINEMA, known for Cold Eyes (2013) and Master (2016) among many other recent hits.
