Actor LEE Tae-ri Leads THE BITTERSWEET Acting in Chinese and Without Understudy
Starring LEE Tae-ri, formerly known as LEE Min-ho, the Chinese action thriller The Bittersweet is scheduled to be released in various Asian countries including Singapore and Taiwan. His agency Starhaus Entertainment revealed recently in a press release: “The Bittersweet starring LEE Tae-ri is getting distribution in Singapore, Taiwan, China and more”.
This action thriller involves a man who suspects a woman to be the long-lost sister he hasn’t seen since childhood and thus, is willing to do anything for her. Cast alongside LEE, acting as Xiaoma, is actress ZHU Xuan who plays the role of Miao Xuan. Moreover, LEE managed to act in Chinese and without using an understudy for his action scenes in the movie. The Bittersweet is now available on Netflix, with the Korean title of Bittersweet One-way Love (translated title).
Meanwhile, LEE has acted in many dramas and films such as Moon Embracing the Sun (2012) or Time Renegades (2016), and he recently completed the making of TV series The Curling Team. In addition, he was confirmed to appear in upcoming pre-recorded drama Coffee, Do Me A Favor (writer SEO Bo-ra, director PARK Soo-cheol) and has a Chinese film entitled Mystery Fighter coming soon to the big screens.
