Luna of f(x) in the Lead Role in a Children’s Movie

THE LIGHTNING MAN’S SECRET to Be Released on February 11th
 
 
A children’s movie featuring Luna is to be released in February. Luna is the main vocalist in a girl band f(x) which is run by SM Entertainment, a management and recording company. She makes her screen debut in the theater edition of The Lightning Man which is a popular children’s hero show. The distributor Daou Tech Inc. announced her appearance in the film and the release date in press release.
 
The Lightning Man’s Secret depicts the battle between Lightning Man, the super hero in Joyland who saves the kids, and the bad guy who tries to eliminate Lightning Man‘s super power. Luna plays the role of Hanna, a friend of Lightning Man. This is the first time Luna acts in a film and her acting is also the first time in 4 years since Saving Mrs. Gobongshil, a 2011 TV show.
 
The Lightning Man’s Secret is a hero movie featuring popular characters aired on EBS, a public TV station. The character Lightning Man began as a main character of Come Together, Ding-dong-deng, a long run TV show since 1999, and this character increased its appearance in children’s musical, open studio shows, and various character goods. 
 
Daou Tech Inc. announced that they have sold this TV show format to China and Vietnam, which was the first time for a domestic children’s show. "It is among popular contents to lead Korean Wave in characters," they assured. 
 
The director is CHO Geun-hyun who also directed 26 Years (2012) and Late Spring (2014), and Lightning Man is to be played by JUNG Hyun-jin, a rookie actor. This film is to be co-produced by Dream Search CNC Inc. and EBS, and released on February 11th in Korea.
