The Terracotta Far East Film Festival 2013 (TFEFF) is gearing up for its biggest ever event which kicks off tomorrow (June 6th) and will run through to June 15th. In addition to a trio of fresh Korean genre fare at the event, festival organizers have announced that Korea’s premier action director RYOO Seung-wan will be joining the proceedings as he will present his latest opus, the big-budget spy thriller The Berlin File, starring HA Jung-woo, HAN Suk-kyu, JUN Ji-hyun and the filmmaker’s brother RYOO Seung-bum.
Director RYOO will take part in a screening of The Berlin File on Saturday (June 8th), which will be followed by a Q&A session and an after party. Also screening at TFEFF will be the blockbuster fantasy melodrama A Werewolf Boy by director JO Sung-hee and OH Young-doo’s madcap sci-fi private eye flick Young Gun in the Time.
TFEFF, now in its fifth edition, is having its biggest year, expanding to four sections, 10 days and 27 films, and securing its place as the largest celebration of Asian film in the UK in the process.
