Thrown into deep water one day, a boy comes back breathing. Gills have grown on his body, and Gon becomes the only child in the world who belongs to the water as much as to the land.
What follows is not his story alone. It belongs just as much to the few people who became his entire world, and to the long telling he finally offers.
Adapted from Gu Byeong-mo's novel of the same name, Gill is a Korean animated film about a boy who survives beneath the surface and the people who made that life worth remembering.
