"Honest People" is an effective film that shows the diverse realities of Korean youth through its imaginative protagonist. The storyteller's world is rich with episodes of clients struggling with housing insecurity, unemployment, isolation, and competition, and the film hopefully depicts the character's vision of enlightenment through imagination. The second half of Bo-yoon's journey into the world is familiar, but certainly encouraging.
