The ceremony was attended by KOFIC Chairperson Han Sang-jun, KBAU Secretary General Song Chang-gon, FKMWU Chairperson Ahn Byung-ho, and other key officials from each organization.

The agreement was established to revitalize the use of on-set personnel amid recent difficulties in the production and investment environment. By building a framework for information-sharing and cooperation between the three organizations, the agreement aims to substantially expand casting and employment opportunities for actors and crew.

Under the agreement, the three organizations plan to actively cooperate in the following areas: sharing union member information and utilizing talent pools to support film production and casting; policy cooperation to create stable employment conditions and mutual growth for actors and crew in the film and video industry; joint projects and public relations activities to advance Korea's film and video culture and promote the public interest; and other areas requiring mutual cooperation as needed.

In particular, the organizations plan to strengthen the link between on-set production demand and available personnel, supporting smoother casting and more effective matching of skilled professionals. Through this, they aim to expand job opportunities on set and help establish a sustainable, virtuous cycle within the film and video industry.

KOFIC Chairperson Han Sang-jun said, "For the sustainable development of the film industry, it is essential not only to strengthen creative capacity but also to build an environment in which actors and crew can work with stability." He added, "Through this agreement, we will work closely together so that on-set talent and production demand can be organically connected, opening up more opportunities for creative work."

KBAU Secretary General Song Chang-gon said, "As the boundaries between broadcast and film continue to blur, we hope this agreement will serve as an opportunity to expand the stage for talented performers." He added, "We will actively cooperate to build an environment in which performers can work with stability, in step with the changes taking place on set."

FKMWU Chairperson Ahn Byung-ho said, "Good work begins in an environment where on-set workers can continue working sustainably." He added, "The Film Industry Union will continue to communicate consistently, conveying the voices of those on set, so that revitalizing production and improving working conditions can advance together."

KOFIC stated that it plans to continue expanding cooperation with various stakeholders in the film and video industry going forward, and to strengthen policy support across production, personnel, and employment in order to build a healthy film and video industry ecosystem.
