BiFan 2015 KoBiz Online Screening Opens on July 16!
Fantasy films beyond our imagination are coming in hot and sunny July. The 19th
Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival has a new name ‘BiFan’ instead of long-standing ‘PiFan’. It features extensive Korean genre films that have both their cinematic quality and popularity. While fantastic festivals in Europe are an issue of fear and grotesqueries, Bifan’s selection is mainly based on fantastic and unrealistic elements. Remarkable burst of domestic short films is expected this year in BiFan. Korean short films brought successive good news recently for Best Short Film category at the Berlin International Film Festival and Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, one of the three most prestigious international short film festivals. The works are drawing overseas attention as one of the hottest contents.
