KoBiz OS 'JIMFF 2014 Festival Screening' Opens August 14th
With the intention of bringing music focused films into light, the 10th Jecheon International Music and Film Festival (JIMFF) will be held in the city of rolling hills and breeze, Jecheon. Presenting the ‘Now and Future of Korean Cinema’, KoBiz Online Screening will be showcasing a variety of films from the festival that will surely be satisfying to both ears and eyes.
Looking into the life and music of a blues folk musician located in the artistic town of Hong-dae, is the Korean version of Searching for Sugar Man directed by LEE Ju-ho, Where Is My Seed. Drawing the ups and downs of local band named ‘Street Oasis’ is director CHOI Jong-cheon’s Kinda Famous Band We Believe. JUNG Dae-gun’s Sabra talks about the growing pains of hip-hop kids and JANG Young-sun’s Tenderly Crunch takes on a musical twist with its unique and daring sensibility. You will be able to feel the new rhythm of Korean cinema with pizazz through these selections and more!
In the past, KoBiz Online Screening has serviced Busan, Jeonju, and Puchon film festivals, but has expanded the number of festivals this year to include Jecheon. The streaming service ‘Festival Screening: JIMFF 2014’ will be available starting the opening day of the festival, August 14th, for three months through the KoBiz Online Screening website.
