The Korean Film Council attends ScreenSingapore

Aiming for the South East Asian market
 

The Korean Film Council(KOFIC, Chairman: KIM Eui-suk) will attend ScreenSingapore 2013. The event which will be held in Singapore from Dec. 3- 6 is accompanied by the TV contents market Asia TV Market & Forum during the same period. For this first attendance, KOFIC will be opening a Korean Film Center sales booth in collaboration with 5 Korea-based international sales companies including 9ers Entertainment, Finecut, CJ Entertainment, M-Line Distribution and Daisy & Cinergy Entertainment.
 
Line-up listings for each sales company are No Breathing starring SEO In-guk and LEE Jong-suk by 9ers Entertainment; theatrical version of TV drama Iris 2 by Finecut; Way Back Home starring JEON Do-yeon by CJ Entertainment; The Fives by M-Line Distribution; and Horror Stories II by Daisy & Cinergy Entertainment. KOFIC will offer business meetings support as well as promote the newly launched KOBIZ on-line screening service.
 
Chris Kim, manager of KOFIC, explained that demands from buyers from South East Asia such as Singapore and Taiwan and sales companies have increased, and accordingly, KOFIC’s attendance this year address such needs while seeking new possibilities for Korean films to move into the South East Asian market.
