SEO Ji-hye, born in 1984, was first noticed by a talent scout in the street when she was still in high school, which allowed her to make her first appearance in 2002 in a music video. After entering the acting school of Sungkyunkwan University and receiving her first role in TV series <All In> (2003), she came to the attention of the public in 2005 with her lead part in <The Voice> (2004), the fourth instalment in the <Whispering Corridors> horror film series known for being set in girls’ high schools, and made a strong impression with her dual role in historical TV series <Shin Don> (2005). She also gained a lot of notoriety after she co-starred CHO Seung-woo in a commercial, in which she famously delivered the line, “do you want to go dancing?”. Having been mainly active in television series, she starred in only a handful of movies such as she <The Mafia, The Salesman> (2007) and <Suspicious Customers> (2011). She remains better known for her many starring roles in television such as <Over the Rainbow> (2006) and <49 Days> (2011), and has particularly received a lot of attention for her hailed portrayal of a prosecutor in political thriller series <Punch> (2014).
