After entering the acting school of Sungkyunkwan University and receiving her first role in TV series <All In> (2003), she came to the attention of the public in 2005 with her lead part in <The Voice> (2004), the fourth instalment in the <Whispering Corridors> horror film series known for being set in girls’ high schools, and made a strong impression with her dual role in historical TV series <Shin Don> (2005).
