In this Pandemic Era, border are closed between countries. Four protagonists Kitty and Tommy, who live in Seoul, and Mia and Emma, who lives in Tokyo, access each other through online network system. While communication, they are using AR character masks originated by popular chatting app “LINE”, rather than showing their real faces on the screen. As East Asian women of the 21st century, they are facing parallel reality in the different society. They are chatting about a book they have all read by chance, sending their old photos, and sharing the videos of their daily life such as subways. They have never met each other, yet, however they already become friend. Their AR avatars are teleporting between separated nations and trying to make a solidarity in playful digitalized gesture.
