In a rural village town in Gangwon-do, Korea. Ye-bun, a mid-sixties lady running funeral service, spent the last whole year in the stream with a metal detector searching for the trace of her dead granddaughter Su-jeong, who passed away a year ago in rafting accident. One day her old friend Ok-im came along asking if Ye-bun could raise Ok-im’s granddaughter after her death.
