Jong-hwan is an old man in his 70s suffering from kidney failure and concurrently his grandson Min-Ho is also suffering from the same illness. One day, Min-Ho’s condition worsens to a coma and the only option left is kidney transplant. Jong-hwan’s body also stops reacting to dialysis and is in need of transplant. Jong-hwan’s son and Min-Ho’s father Dae-Ho’s kidney turns out to be the right match for both.
