This documentary portrays the growth of a girl who was born and living in Pyongyang, North Korea. Director YANG tells the stories of her niece Sona whose father (YANG's brother) immigrated to North Korea from Japan in the early 70s. YANG gazes at Sona who was educated in a North Korean school in Japan. The film gives not only images of ordinary people's lives in Pyongyang but also the unique process of building identities for new generations.
