In February 1998, an offer at the Joint Security Area dies of gunfire. Two hours after the incident, officials report that his death was a suicide. Six years later his death is still in dispute. As the truth begins to unfurl, it is revealed that the officer was part of a Special Forces unit, to disclose any more details. As time passes and pressure from the media seems ineffective, people begin to forget what had happened. The film examines how power manages to distort the death of a young and promising officer. Unlike other documentaries on mysterious death in the military, there is no sentimental music or the cries of parents. The director is interested only in what really happened and works hard to put together the pieces. The camera captures both soldiers and their families, and foreshadows that such a mysterious death can happen anytime, to anyone. And yet, activism continues to this day, for as one activist said, to fiend out the truth of one mysteriously disappeared soldier is to prevent the same thing from happening to another.
