Sin-ho is visited by Hye-yeong and his son Yeong-sin from Germany who comes to Korea for his violin concert. The Sin-ho couple is anguish over their son Yeong-gyu, who has been crippled after falling from a tree. Hye-yeong pleads for permission to take him to Germany to get him an operation. Yeong-gyu refuses to go, and he discovers that Hye-yeong is responsible for the accident. Blaming Hye-yeong, he torments her and Yeong-sin. But persuaded by Hye-yeong and his half brother...

When Yeong-shin flies back to Germany, peace comes once again to Sin-ho's house.
