Sin-ho is visited by Hye-yeong and his son Yeong-sin from Germany who comes to Korea for his violin concert. The Sin-ho couple is anguish over their son Yeong-gyu, who has been crippled after falling from a tree. Hye-yeong pleads for permission to take him to Germany to get him an operation.
