Shangma Pictures
Shangma Pictures is the independent documentary film production studio of MA Min-ji. It is responsible for MA’s first feature-length documentary <Family in the Bubble>. The film retraces the consequences of the 1997 Asian financial crisis from the perspective of MA’s family, which had made its fortune in the construction industry only to lose everything overnight. It won the Grand Prize at the EBS International Documentary Film Festival.
